Ok, this is just to let you all know that your Father at this point does not have Cancer. He went to see the Dr. yesterday and he has a growth by his nose that has been there quite a while. We thought that it was like the growths he has in his hands. He keeps shaving it off and it has become annoying, so he thought he would have it removed, like he has had others removed.
The other small sores he gets are and can be frozen off. So he thought he would go to the Dr's. to have this one frozen off. But his Dr thinks it may be what your dad said, a small skin cancer sore. It is nothing to worry about unless it is defined as cancerous. The Dr. took no tests or anything, it was just a 15 minutes diagnosis in her office. He has a follow-up appt with the Dermatologist next week. Where I am sure they will remove it and have it sent to be analyzed.
I think your father is worried because the Dr was so adamant that it was a cancereous growth. I don't think it is anything to worry about at this point until he see's a specialist.
I apologize for the miss communication. I was sick yesterday and I did not really take Keary's concern seriously, so he reached out! Sorry! We will keep ya'll updated! Love ya'll.
Just for your information the doctor was certain it was a type of cancer but was not sure which type without a biopsy and the dermatologist will call me within two weeks or I should call them so it will not be over very quickly. And I was not trying to be funny as some seem to think.
